What do you believe?
You can explore our key beliefs in other parts of this website. We hold firm to what the Bible testifies about itself in 2 Timothy 3:16-17. Creeds and tradition have their place in that we can benefit from the study and effort of other believers. However, merely listing a sequence of doctrines means little if a person is not representative of the grace of Jesus Christ. James 2:19 In summary, there are some key foundational ideas to which our members hold fast to, but in all other matters we aim to show grace and humility stemming from the knowledge while we believe that the Bible is God's revealed words to us that is not to say that our comprehension of those words is perfect.

Foundational Beliefs
We have a commission
Matthew 28:19 records Jesus' exhortation to share His good news to others. We desire to do this in word and deed.
We are saved by grace
Ephesians 2:8–10 makes it clear that our salvation is a gift from God, not achievable by our own efforts. This grace should manifest itself in the way we live with and treat each other.
The Bible Is God's Word
The Bible is God's story from which we more fully understand His character and how we should live. We would do well to be like the Bereans (Acts 17:11) who were commended for diligently studying Scripture.
Jesus Is Lord
Scripture tells us that "every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord" Philippians 2:9-11 We make these confessions here and now and live according to their premise.
