Bible Engagement Makes Life Better

"When people engage deeply with the Bible, their lives and relationships are better". This is one of the findings of an ongoing study conducted by The American Bible Society.

It is interesting reading and reveals both sobering and hopeful trends.

To summarize:

- overall; fewer people are engaging with the Bible

- BUT; there are some hopeful signs that some people who were up to this point pretty neutral about the Bible and interested in learning more about what is in it

How does the research group define "engagement"? It is more than just reading the Bible, but rather it is interacting with Scripture in a way that shapes the choices a person makes and impacts the relationships they have with God, themselves, and others.
